Beans from Madagascar, Papua New Guinea, Uganda and Tahiti

Quality, expertise and commitment form the foundation of Vanille BV. This is reflected in the pure essence of vanilla and the quality of this natural product. Our love for the bean goes beyond the product itself. There is a strong connection with the farmers in the origins. As a result, together with local partners, a foundation has been established to support projects that help secure the farmers’ livelihoods.

Our love for the bean goes beyond the product itself.

Our Partner in Madagascar: APL Vanilla & Spices

In the Sava region of Madagascar, we work closely with a special partner: APL Vanilla & Spices (APLV). Like us, APLV is a family-owned business built on trust, dedication, and a passion for fair trade. With more than 80 permanent employees, APLV is committed to processing high-quality herbs, ingredients, fruit, and nuts – including, of course, top-quality vanilla.

What makes APLV unique is their strong focus on a fair and transparent supply chain. The raw materials come directly from their own plantations and small-scale farmers in the region. This ensures quality control and fair compensation for the farmers’ work.

We are particularly proud of the social impact APLV makes. More than 80% of their employees are women – strong women who not only earn the majority of the family income but also care for their children and families. By providing them with work, stability, and independence, APLV truly makes a difference in the community.

Together with APLV, we are building a future where quality, equality, and sustainability go hand in hand. Because only by investing in people does vanilla grow with a story that goes beyond flavor.
